How much can I really save on shipping?
Most customers save 60-90% compared to retail shipping rates. For example, a 1 lb package from California to New York typically costs at least $32+ at the post office for Express, but only $24 through NomShip regardless of the distance.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards (via Stripe), Zelle, and Venmo. Credit card payments are processed instantly through Stripe's secure checkout. Zelle and Venmo offer fast peer-to-peer transactions. All payments are processed securely and we never store your payment information.
How does NomShip work?
It's simple: 1) Enter your package details and get an instant quote, 2) Pay securely via credit card, Zelle, or Venmo, 3) Your shipping label will be delivered within 6–12 hours (faster for credit card payments), 4) Drop off your package at any USPS, UPS, or FedEx location. Your package is tracked normally and has the same delivery guarantees as any other shipment.
When will I receive my label?
Label delivery time depends on payment method: Credit card payments via Stripe are typically processed within 6–12 hours. Zelle and Venmo payments are delivered within 12–24 hours after we confirm receipt. Labels are posted to your dashboard and emailed to you. If your label isn't delivered within the expected window, contact NomShip support.
Which shipping carriers do you support?
We support USPS Express, UPS Overnight, and FedEx Overnight services. We focus on express overnight delivery options to ensure your packages arrive quickly. Each carrier offers reliable next-day or express delivery with full tracking and delivery guarantees.
Are my payments secure?
Absolutely. Credit card payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. Zelle and Venmo are legitimate payment platforms used by millions of people daily. We use verified business accounts and never store your payment information. All transactions are trackable and we provide full receipts for accounting purposes.
Can I track my packages normally?
Absolutely! Your packages are processed through the normal USPS/UPS system with full tracking. You'll receive a tracking number and can follow your package's progress just like any other shipment. The only difference is the lower price you paid.
Can I use this for my business?
Yes! NomShip is perfect for small businesses, eBay sellers, Etsy shops, and anyone who ships regularly. We provide proper receipts for tax purposes and can handle any volume of shipments. There are no monthly fees or minimum requirements.
Can I change or refund a label after purchase?
Please double-check addresses before paying. Once a label is created and posted to your dashboard or emailed, we can't change, exchange, or refund it, unless the label is not working (e.g., unreadable barcode). Contact us for help.
My package is delayed. What should I do?
Our labels are heavily discounted, and about 98% of packages arrive on time. If you experience an issue, reach out to NomShip first. Contacting USPS/UPS/FedEx or filing claims directly won't help for these discounted labels.
I didn't get my label yet—what should I do?
First, check your dashboard at nomship.com to see if the label is available for download. If you paid via credit card, wait 6–12 hours. For Zelle/Venmo payments, wait the full 12–24 hours. Check your email spam folder as well. If it still hasn't arrived after the expected time, contact support with your Order Code.
Are my packages insured?
Basic coverage is included with most services (typically $50-100). Additional insurance can be purchased for valuable items. All packages have the same protections and guarantees as if you purchased the label directly from the carrier.
Do you support international shipping?
Currently we only support domestic US shipping. We're working on adding international services soon. Sign up for our newsletter or check back regularly to be notified when international shipping becomes available.
Do you offer volume discounts for high-volume shippers?
Our rates are already heavily discounted. For shippers with 1000+ packages per month, contact our sales team at support@nomship.com to discuss additional volume pricing options.
Why should I pay with a credit card?
Credit card payments via Stripe are processed instantly and automatically. Your label will typically be available within 6–12 hours compared to 12–24 hours for Zelle/Venmo payments (which require manual verification). Plus, you get the protection and rewards of your credit card.
What format is the shipping label?
Labels are provided as PDF files that you can download from your dashboard or receive via email. You can print them on standard 8.5×11 paper or use a thermal label printer. The barcode and tracking information are clearly visible for easy scanning.
Do I need to create an account?
Yes, you need a free account to purchase labels. This allows you to access your order history, download labels anytime, track packages, and manage your default shipping addresses. Sign-up takes less than a minute and there are no monthly fees.
What are the weight limits for packages?
Weight limits vary by carrier: USPS Express supports up to 70 lbs, UPS Overnight up to 150 lbs, and FedEx Overnight up to 150 lbs. You'll see the maximum weight for your selected carrier during checkout.
How long is my label valid?
Labels should be used within 2 days of download to ensure validity. After downloading your label, print it and ship your package as soon as possible. If you need to delay shipping, contact support to discuss options.
